______________________________________________

The health, safety, and well-being of all our Community Services participants and instructors is our top priority. The COVID-19 Pandemic has forced us to cancel courses, clinics, camps, etc. from the end of the school year into the summer months. Since closure, instructors, coaches, parents, and participants have been eagerly awaiting the re-opening of our summer activities. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we follow the lead of the CDC, MDH, Governor Walz and other respectable entities.
We are hopeful to begin offering programs as early as Monday, June 15!!

Before we can jump in, Coaches and Instructors are REQUIRED to fill out the JCC Community Services Mitigation Preparedness Plan. This plan will include:
  • Screening
  • Social distancing
  • Pick-up & drop-off protocols
  • Cleaning & disinfection
  • Effective implementation of the plan
This plan must be submitted a minimum or 5 days prior to the first day or your program. The plan will then be reviewed, comments or further direction will be provided, then approved. Once approved, the program may begin. Please only include realistic practices and protocols. If there is deviation from the approved plan, the program will be cancelled, effective immediately.
I strongly encourage you to take a few moments to read Minnesota Dept. of Health materials regarding Guidance for Social Distancing in Youth and Student Programs. This document will be helpful as you write your program's mitigation plan.
Other supporting materials include, but not limited to:
We are excited to be moving forward but we must provide safe and equitable programs.
